The fee The fee is on a sliding scale. Most acupuncturists spend a long time talking with each patient and charge $65 to $125 per treatment. But by returning to the traditional Asian approach and streamlining the treatment, several patients can be seen in an hour, making this style of acupuncture affordable for patients while providing a living for the acupuncturist. Instead of asking you lots of questions, pulse diagnosis is relied upon in deciding how to treat you. Peaceful Village Acupuncture aims to make acupuncture affordable for you to come as often as you need and for as long as you need. The following suggested sliding scale is to be used only as a general guideline; please consider the acupuncturist’s recommendations for treatment frequency when determining what you can afford: Acupuncture $15-$35 per visit. For first visit only, add Paperwork Fee - $10. Herbs $18 for 10 days' supply (estimate). No proof of income is necessary. The sliding scale makes this service available to the largest number of people, while providing a sustainable income for the acupuncturist. Payment is by check or cash only, no credit or debit cards. Because of the sliding scale, the clinic cannot do insurance billing (that’s the insurance companies’ rule). If you have insurance that covers acupuncture, a payment receipt will be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. |
